| Did any anyone listen to the Jenny Lewis interview (w/ Arroz Y Frijoles) where she mentioned she was a fan of boxing? Anyway, there is a big boxing match on HBO on Nov. 17, in the 135-pound division. Anyway, I live for boxing, more than any other sport. Does anyone on here care about the sport? |

I'm a big boxing fan. I was hooked back in the Tyson days, when he was the most exciting boxer around. I know MMA and UFC stuff is huge these days, but I will take an old school boxing match over that stuff any day of the week (and I loved the early days of the UFC with the Gracie's dominating everyone).
There are some excellent matches on youtube if you search around. The Micky Ward/Arturo Gatti fights are particularly awesome to watch (and some of the best rounds of boxing you are going to see). |

I used to love boxing, but all of the controversial horrible decisions has turned me off big time. I don't watch many matches these days.
A couple of weeks ago I went back and watched a bunch of bouts from my personal favorite of all-time...Tommy "The Hit Man" Hearns. He wasn't the best ever or anything like that, but he was exciting as hell to watch. _________________ "When God gave us mirrors....he had no idea...."

Boxing is the only sport that my family watches together but I agree with the post above, recent decisions have turned me off the sport. Not completely, I still watch some of the fights. Recently the Chavez jr Vs Martinez was was rather enjoyable, then again I may be bias since I made a bet with Jenny. She clearly won and but was a good sport about it. As a kid though all my friends had cable and I didnt so they had cartoon network and stuff all I had was Mexican tv channels which had late night friday amateur fights. The only time I would get cable as a kid was when my parents would order pay per view to see the fight. incidentally It was mostly the chavez fights and the trinidad ones. _________________ “Does a man ever tire of looking at the sunrise…when he's balls deep in Kevin?”

| The fight is tomorrow and I didn't get no e-mail notifying me Broner had a problem with the weigh-in. Does anyone else wanna see Broner get KO'd? He is fighting Ring Magazine's #1 ranked 135-pounder. I do expect Broner to TKO Antonio DeMarco though, in the middle rounds (5-8). |
