I'm way jealous of everyone getting to hang out in Chicago. But only a week until SD! Who's excited? I am! _________________ I'll sink this ship if I want.

Excited? There needs to be a new word for how I feel about the SD show.
How about fervid? That hardly sees usage these days. _________________ "Right is right even if no one does it, and wrong is wrong even if everyone does it."

What time are people planning on arriving for the show tomorrow? I'll probably get there around 4ish, I don't think it will be a show for which one must arrive super early in order to get a choice spot. Also I'm planning on going to the Gold Room first to drink and everyone should join me. Seriously, its $4 for a PBR AND a shot of tequila! Cheap booze is the best booze! _________________ I'll sink this ship if I want.

Earliest I can be there is 6ish, but I'm definitely down to drink. I think Sarah is going to be down to drink too. And there's always the chance that Adan will too. LOL _________________ "Right is right even if no one does it, and wrong is wrong even if everyone does it."

I suppose leaving earlier is a good idea because I'll beat traffic...keep me posted, rockstonic... _________________ "I think it may be against the law to torture people, even if you're a movie star and a Republican..."
Well my sister gets outta work at 3:30 and we were just gonna leave shortly thereafter, I figured we would need a few hours to drink and eat (we're also thinking of hitting up Masa for some deep dish pizza!). _________________ I'll sink this ship if I want.

Did someone say deep dish? Allie and I were supposed to get some on Monday, but went to Stacked instead.
Now I think I have a craving for it. Sigh. _________________ "Right is right even if no one does it, and wrong is wrong even if everyone does it."

That was like the 2nd. It's been twenty days, Miss Cara. I think the period of mourning is over. LOL _________________ "Right is right even if no one does it, and wrong is wrong even if everyone does it."

Did anyone go to the Cleveland show? I had planned on it but had promised to drive my students to Dayton for camp that day, wouldn't have made it back in time for the show. How was it? Anything that I missed? _________________ http://www.last.fm/user/NeppyK8/

Anyone who was at the Echo show, what happened? I saw some comments on The Elected's Facebook page about Blake leaving the stage abruptly at the end... _________________ I am flawed if I'm not free

Wasn't there, but I guess he started "Response to Greed" messed up and decided against playing it and left?

Hmm, dunno. This is the most insight any of the comments gives:
"'This is lame...' And then he ran off. Doing Ripchord must have really gotten to him : / but definitely a great show." _________________ I am flawed if I'm not free
I don't know if it is all that interesting really. Blake and the band came out for an encore. He sang Ripchord first and then started playing Response to Greed. During the first verse he messed up. At that point he was just seemed over it and got up and left. It was abrupt and unexpected. Even the band was justing sitting there a little stunned, not knowing what to do. After they realized that was it they left the stage too. So nothing too dramatic, just kind of sucks that we didn't get to hear the whole song.

actually thats not what happened. someone in the audience said something and blake said wrong comment, and then said Im done thanks you guys. he looked at mike and mike just smiled. it wasn't dramatic it was actually a great way to end the show considering he gave us an impromptu August. I asked him after the show about the ending and he said he wasn't mad and he actually enjoyed the show and the tour. "i thought it was a great ending" _________________ “Does a man ever tire of looking at the sunrise…when he's balls deep in Kevin?”
