i just tied it up 8 to 8 with my vote for the Elected. I do like both releases but the Elected are just more solid and more my speed than RFC which i do love but it took some time to grow on me. the only one that grabbed me right off the bat was 'You are what you love'.

I think in some respect I like them equally or even more.
Part of it is, while they are very different bands, they envoke a very similary feeling in me and I like that feeling.
Oh, and they Elected totally own JL/WT.

Yes, exactly. I can see how something like that can get confusing when talking about The Elected or Jenny Lewis With The Watson Twins, but it's good to see someone right on top of it.
