Ok. So the Elle girl scan prompted me to finally admit this potentially embarrassing secret: I am ADDICTED to America's Next Top Model.
I think it's because of my life-long love of dressing up and taking pictures of myself-- the photo shoots they do are sooooooo cool!
Wednesday is taking too long!
Well, now that i have revealed my secrets, I just want to know if anyone else has been watching this. Anyone? And if so, what do you think about Lisa?
And how much can you not stand Jayla by this point?
Just curious and trying to fill up my empty days until the next episode... Sigh.

I HEART JAYLA! Sooo pretty. Love her. I don't understand why everyone is so down on her. I don't know, I may just be blinded by my want to...like...do things to her.
Yeah, I'm horribly addicted to Top Model now, and I'm seriously embarassed to admit it to...anyone. I just recently started talking about it was school folk. It's my mother's fault. She watches Veronica Mars religiously ("she just like Nancy Drew!...only she's not a virgin) and there's nothing on between 8 and 9, so we end up watching that and now I'm all invested in it.
Anyway, I love Jayla and want her to win win win win win. So ha!
Lisa bugs me...
and I really hate Kim. Anyone else think that she and Kyle were having like, a serious secret affair and that's why Kim was so sad to see Kyle go?
I don't know, I came to it late in the season and missed the show last week so I don't have a lot to contribute and I may have like, missed something so yeah. |

i'm the only straight guy in the whole world who watches the show religiously.
but that's only cause i cheer for certain girls!
and since i'm partial to indie rock girls
how can you not love Jayla?
even tho she's bitchy and appearently not so nice.
she's rock and roll ! and she'll tell you if your fat!
all those other stupid girls can go to hell!
i started watching last year because Kahlen (the runner-up)
was a huge Steel Train fan and knows her indie rock.
plus, it's great pre-game for Veronica Mars
(come on..am i the only one who thinks both Duncan and Logan are idiotic douchebags? Veronica needs to get with a nice indie geek boy ..hahahah)
did anyone notice the last few weeks on VM..they played "On Your Porch" by the Format and "So Jealous" by Tegan and Sara?

Don't feel bad, I've seen it a couple times. I don't know her name, but I like the crazy girl who runs around covered in bubbles. She also did a really good deodorant commercial in one of the episodes. :lol:
Are any of the winners ever heard from again (aside from VH1 reality shows)?

Oh they make fun of her on Best Week Ever all the time! I vote for her, she so drunk and crazy all the time. The whole talking to the plants by the pool thing really makes me love her insanity.

btw kev...i feel totally misquoted there....
that girl (lisa) is funny but really annoying and conceited.
but i'll say that the funniest moment of the year so far was when she was drunk and talking to the bush by the pool and calling it "Cousin It"
i think watching this show you have to take it with a grain of sugar.
the contestants aren't very model-like, they all have faults and inconsistancys. Most are under 5'9. Most of them aren't and won't be supermodels...they'll be lucky to get a few commerical spots here and there. but it's halirious reality tv..as long as you dont take it too seriously.

Yeah, I might have to check it out again. The only reality show I really like is The Amazing Race... but I HATE this family version they are doing now. It's so lame.

Wow. It's crazy to me that you guys actually like Jayla. She has become the ultimate villain in our house -- Yes, my roomates all watch it too.
It all started the week they did the secret ads and she stole Nik's secret, and then she acted like she didn't know, and then was all scary pissed about Nik being upset about it. Seeing her in the confession room was like Jekyll and Hyde.
Anyway I really like Nik's hair so maybe I just have to side with her on that basis alone. And Bre has basically the raddest voice ever.
But I think Lisa should win just becasue I think she'd make the most amusing celebrity. A skinny version of Courtney Love or something like that. |

True, but I think with time, a lot of alcohol, (drugs?), plus a few failed relationships, and a fading career, Lisa could have herself a downward spiral to rival even that of Ms. Love's. |

Oh. I just remembered how pissed I am at that dumb Cassandra girl who wouldn't cut her hair and left the show so we had to see that crappy recap show last week.
I watch the show for photo shoots and to see Tyra make a fool of herself during eliminations, not to see the girls freak out over a bird in their house!
(By the way, what's the deal with Tyra's elimination voice? It drives me crazy! "I only have two pictures left... ") |

the only 2 reality shows i watch is amazing race and ANTM
this season's family edition isn't as fun because only 1-2 families are interesting. The rest are boring as hell. I 'm rooting for the Jersey garbageman family.

| Ive been addicted to this show for years. I love all the stupid drama. I could watch that clip of carryn calling Lisa an alcohloic bitch all day and it would never get old. And that part when Lisa is at the pool all drunk and talking to "cousin It" was so funny. I hope Nik or Bre wins. |

Oh my stars. Best episode EVER. I was so excited when I thought Jayla was going to get cut, but it's so cool that no one has to get cut since that stupid cassandra girl left.
Bre was pretty much the funniest person ever when she was talking about Lisa. And the part where Lisa went all psycho and said "have a cookie" made me cry laughing.

i fucking HATe lisa. shes not pretty at all and shes fucknig retarded. im sorry but like, shes too dumb and immature. when you see models they should be classy not pissing in a diaper. i just cannot stand her. shes so fucknig dumb. like at first i was like 'shes just tryign to be brittany" (was that the girls name, the one from last season, the crazy drunk).
i like jayla i think shes the prettiest one. i dont really like this season. i hate that they got rid of janet, i loooved janet. i hate ms jay. he is too gay. like im really open and im friends with a lot of gay people, but i dont understand why hes so flaming? i probably sound like a complete asshole, but hopefully someone will agree with me on that one.
i dont really liek twiggy all too much. she doesnt really give an opinion she just says she likes everything. i love nigel he is soo cute.
and i agree with whoeever said it, but what is up with tyras voice at elimination? it sounds like shes going to cry.
i dont really like this season because theres noone i really like except jayla. like once shes gone, i will have noone to root for and ill just get bored.
and im rambling and i could ramble on more, but i wont.

Ok, so I probably should just let this thread die, but not before I complain about how upset I am at tonight's episode:

Seriously, what just happened? Every week I think we're finally going to get rid of Jayla's nastiness, but then they kick Lisa off instead?
I realize a lot of you like Jayla and hate Lisa, but come on you have to admit that the whole "eat a cookie thing was hilarious."
Poo. I might have to stop watching the show now. There's no one funny left.
Ok. Maybe I can watch for Bre. She's been pretty amusing lately.
Oh man I am so sad. And they were in London. I miss London.
Well, now that I have whined... Sorry, and I hope Jayla wins so we can see her ridiculously depressing "Life a Cover Girl" next season. (Walgreens? Poor Naima.)
