I wonder if I could use the house in San Diego to host this since my condo would be too small to host this. Hmm. _________________ "Right is right even if no one does it, and wrong is wrong even if everyone does it."

I think your living room would totally hold 20-30 people. |

No way. Maybe 15-20, but they'd be packed. _________________ "Right is right even if no one does it, and wrong is wrong even if everyone does it."

Anybody from the L.A. area going to the Santa Cruz and San Francisco shows? I'm considering driving up. _________________ "Right is right even if no one does it, and wrong is wrong even if everyone does it."

I'll be at the Fullerton show. Although I haven't gotten any emails yet advising where it will be at. |

Same here. I was actually coming on here to ask if anyone else had gotten an e-mail yet. Hopefully some time today? Makes things a little hard to plan when I don't even know what time it's at. |

It was amazing. Such a small intimate show. About 30 guests. It was cool to just hang with Blake and Jake and hang around the firepit and hear them tell stories. Definitely my favorite Elected show to date. |

One of the best shows i have ever attended, sometimes i define the Woman's Club jenny lewis shows as a pivotal moment in life and today it was the same. The truth is, there is something awe about seeing your favorite musician in just a living room with a guitar. Tonight even the audience played a part, the set was partly decided by fans and fans "performed" (My best friend brion sang the solo for "picture in a pocket" from neva dinova and some got to sing the oooh in baby face) blake told stories and chatted with the audience and after the show seemed to thank everyone personally at the end of the show (no waiting by the side of a tour bus)
Setlist:
-It was love (which was great since it was in san diego)
-Would you come with me (told a story about how scary it is to drive a motorcycle)
-Who are you?
-Let my love open the door (He invited Leslie Feist to come on sing with him at the living room)
-Have you been cheated?
- Not going home
-Time is coming
-greetings in braille
- a cover i can't remember
- Born to love you
- babyface
ill post more on it. Its great that he was astounded that i had all my rk posters signed except the mug shot of his which he gladly did. also mr sennett has a new hair cut. its kinda funny cause i got the same haircut in the summer which can be described as (if i were in a gang/aryan brotherhood it be totally cool) so blake did what i did, where a beanie and a jacket to hide it.
pictures hopefully soon

| That sounds amazing, Adan. Very jealous. (Especially that he played that first song) |

For some reason I stopped receiving notifications for this thread, but I just wanted to say: Let My Love Open the Door! So jealous. It's hard to pick a favorite cover RK has done, but that might be it.
Glad you had such an amazing time! Wish I could've gone to one of these shows too. |

Even reading this and experiencing this vicariously through all of you is amazing. I would have died for this experience. _________________ My username is apexsensation. But you can call me Jason if you'd like.

Same here. I've got a reoccurring dream/nightmare where I'm at a somebody's house and a musician I like is there and busts out an impromptu set, and I'm stressing out running around trying to find a recording device to tape it. Seriously have this dream a few times per year, with different musicians (recently was Sinead O'Connor, which was weird.. not like I'm a huge fan of hers.)
IRL, I almost got Blake to come to a pre-Elected-show party back in '06, but they had van trouble that afternoon that nixed that hope. That would've been incredible. _________________ Rilo Kiley Place - nice |

The closest I've come to this experience with a musician that I'm a big fan of was playing music on the porch with Jason, Morgan and Mike Runion after a Whispertown house show. _________________ My username is apexsensation. But you can call me Jason if you'd like.

Yeah, that and "The Emperor's New Clothes" are pretty great. I always kinda hated Nothing Compares 2 U, though that was her big hit. _________________ Rilo Kiley Place - nice |

I have the same dream! I'll need batteries for my camera and the rest of my dream will be a quest for batteries and making it back to the performance in time. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/towncalledluckey |
