Ocean Grove are cheaters for sure, just look at their last.fm page. They have 288 listeners and 5,343 plays vs. 106,877 listeners and 1,782,539 plays of the Elected...

So no, it's probably not a big LA band.

You can use proxy software like Tor to vote multiple times in these kinds of polls (install Tor, start browser, vote, close browser, click stop Tor, click start Tor, click on 'new identity', start browser, repeat). But don't do it! Wink

I just checked their twitter account too and you're right about them having a ton of followers. They tweet every millisecond too so they *might* not be cheating, but it still looks quite fishy.

EDIT: Also found out this: "Ocean Grove is a rock band comprised of four musicians who currently make up the Jonas Brothers’ backing band." Obsessive fangirl teeny boppers could very well be the cause of all those votes, hmmm.
