Same here. And I'm just as bad. My computer shows that I haven't listened to it since December 15th...of 2007. Apparently that means I went all of 2008 without listening to it. |

I think part of why that happened is I've been trying to listen to everything in my music collection again at least once, which doesn't lead to too many older albums (no matter how good they are) getting played a lot lately.

I would kill for a new Elected album right now. Sun Sun Sun is my favorite album EVER.
I made a ring-tone of "Did Me Good" for my cell phone and have had that as my ring-tone for over 2 years and everytime my phone rings, it still excites me. It hasn't gotten old. And in case you were wondering, I cut the song to start here:
"well, baby I've been thinking all about you
and I've been visiting with you each night in my dreams
and I know that you'll come back
cause I have seen that other man
and baby, he ain't doing you no good"
I keep hoping someday I will be somewhere and someone will recognize that its The Elected. hahaa im such a dork that gets off to blake singing "baby" when my phone rings..

I was at a new years party this year at a friend's house. Me and my roommates hit the basement for a cigarette- and there was this bearded dude with an acoustic guitar who just starts jamming:
Well she gets real mean when she's drunk...
and he played a slew of Elected and old RK songs. A great new years for sure. Made me really anxious for some new Elected, though. What the hell? Just release some myspace bootlegs, Blake!
It was really nice to ring in the new year with a sing-a-long of With Arms Outstretched, though   |

I will just keep posting because I'm so psyched to finally find people who love the Elected almost as much as me...sorry, I'm pretty sure I love them the most...but then again, I'm also pretty sure that if Blake ever met me he'd love me...but then again, I hear what other people say at the psych hospital where I work, and then I don't sound so crazy...I really don't like who I work for, and the only thing that's gotten me through it are my Elected CDs...
